Open Source Forms Server Extends MOA-Building Blocks of the Austrian CIO

Linz/Austria - Linz-based Silbergrau Consulting & Software GmbH has released the forms server "egForms" as Open Source. egForms realizes a forms server which may e.g. be used within an eGoverment environment as well as within any other commercial or non commercial application. With egForms forms are described in an meta language (XML) and are automatically rendered conforming to the official Austrian Styleguide for eGovernment forms. egForms handles multipage forms as well as input validation, the signing or verifiying of forms etc. The rendering of forms is configurable and may be freely adopted.

egForms extends the MOA-modules of the Austrian government and provides an ideal base for online applications. egForms is Open Source and has been released under the GNU Lesser General Public License.

egForms has been released on sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/egforms/).
