Silbergrau blueBanking is a very good alternative to existing electronic banking solutions. Silbergrau blueBanking utilizes only open standards, whereby blueBanking isn't tied to any certain manufacturer. Furthermore, Silbergrau blueBanking can be driven on any J2EE compliant webcontainer (IBM Websphere, BEA Weblogic, Oracle IAS, ...) and on any RDBMS, like IBM DB2, Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL. Due to the usage of the Silbergrau blue technology the implementation effort is very low and only limited to businessclass design. Database- and hostaccess are completely managed by Silbergrau blue, only the access information has to be configured. If Silbergrau blueBanking should be integrated with legacy systems, tools for mapping issues are included.
Graphical User Interface
Silbergrau blueBanking uses the multi-faceted thin client features of Silbergrau blue. Silbergrau blue provides multiplicity of tags which are seamlessly integrated into website development software like Macromedia Dreamweaver. These tags provide list, tree, client-side sorting. All these tags can be used with very little effort.
Multilingualism
Silbergrau blueBanking offers multilingualism without changing any JSPs. Multilingualism is achieved by the usage of so called resourcebundles, where all text elements are defined for a certain language. Furthermore, the language can be changed during a session, by only changing your browsers language options.
Functional Range
At the moment Silbergrau blueBanking covers the following features:
- Account information
- Money transaction
- Securities
- Financial status
- Changing PIN/TAN
Extensibility & Changeability
Silbergrau blueBanking can be used as a starting basis for further development. Silbergrau blueBanking is easily extended with a modicum of effort. In the bussiness model just define the desired components and use the provided tools to get the database definition and other things needed. To change the look & feel of the webapplication just change the template and all referenced pages will have the new look & feel.
